Growth & rewards
My sky
Every day hides a shape; the things you actually do place the stars that reveal it.
Every day holds a secret shape. You never see it, and you are never told how many stars it needs. You live your day, and the things you actually do place the stars that reveal it.
My sky is a calm page you can visit any time to see what the day has quietly become.

What places a star
Almost everything meaningful you do places one softly glowing star, in its own colour:
- opening Yappie for the first time that day
- finishing a stretch of focus, alone, with a friend, or in a group room
- completing a task or one of its steps
- taking a break, logging one, logging movement, logging time with people
- sending or receiving a cheer
- honouring a wellbeing nudge
- levelling up, growing an aspect, earning a badge, filling your energy back to 100
Faint grey threads join the stars as they gather. Stars land on the shape's outline first and only afterwards on its finer detail, so the picture draws itself outward rather than speckling.
Nothing is capped, except nudges
Focus, tasks, steps, breaks, movement and social time have no limit at all. A day of nothing but finished tasks fills a shape as surely as a mixed one.
The single exception is wellbeing nudges, because a nudge is the one star you can create whenever you like. Each kind of nudge counts toward the hidden shape at most one, two or three times, depending on how demanding the day's shape is. Honour more and the star still appears, but it lands on the decorative part of the picture.
A varied day still makes the richer, more colourful sky. That is the reward for balance, not a rule about it.
Two details that catch people out: a task with steps is counted by its steps, not its steps plus itself. And un-ticking a task takes its light back out, while re-ticking places a fresh one.
Discovery
There is no target and no counter. When enough stars land, the whole shape blooms into colour: you discovered it. Yappie reveals the shape's real name, along with a quote and its author, kept with the day so they survive going offline and even the quote being retired later.
The discovery is celebrated in a drawer at the bottom of the window, with confetti and a See the sky link. Like every celebration, it waits for a running focus session to end.

If the day is already varied but running short, Yappie offers to finish it: on a day with at least three different kinds of activity and half an hour of focus, ten focus minutes convert into one remaining star. It never goes past the bare minimum, and it will not rescue a day that was only ever one thing.
The day beside the sky
Underneath the sky the day reads as a log: the time, a small coloured icon, and what you did. Yappie walks down beside it, and its line warms as the sky fills, from "the sky is still waking up" to "one more light, and today's secret is yours".
Hover any star, on tonight's sky or one from years ago, and a small card names the moment that lit it, with its time.

That hover history is stored on your device only. It never leaves it, and it is never sent anywhere.
When there is no sky
Some days there is nothing to draw yet, and Yappie says which of the real reasons it is: it is still looking, it cannot reach the server, the sky library has no shape ready, you are signed out, you have reached the edge of what your plan opens, or you have genuinely found them all.
Those are different things, so they never share wording. Yappie only offers an upgrade when an upgrade would actually unlock more sky, and never as a consolation prize.
An empty sky is honest, not broken. Yappie will not draw a stand-in shape to fill the space, because a nameless, quoteless placeholder would end up hanging in your gallery as though you had discovered something.
Each day is its own
A new day starts a fresh sky. Nothing carries over, and a quiet day is never a loss. Days that gathered at least five stars go on to hang in the Gallery of Greatness.
