Gallery of Greatness

The Gallery of Greatness is the wall of every night worth keeping: finished shapes and unfinished ones alike, hung in order, searchable, and yours to name.

What hangs here

A day joins the wall once it gathered at least five stars. Quieter days stay off it. Whether the shape was ever discovered makes no difference; an unfinished sky is still a day you showed up for.

Each tile is the night's own art, with the date on its top edge and, underneath, whatever you decided to call it.

Two controls sit at the top right:

• How many per row switches between two, three and four tiles. Your choice is remembered on that device.
• Find a night opens a small panel with free-text search across names and notes, a from and to range on Yappie's own calendar, and an order: newest first, fullest first, or quietest first. Days that hold art are dotted and pickable in the calendar; empty ones are dimmed. A count reads "N of M", and clear all puts everything back.

The wall hangs twenty at a time and adds the next twenty as you scroll. Step into a night and come back, and it is still exactly where you left it.

Above the wall sits a quiet line of progress, such as "12 of 20 secrets discovered". On Yappie Super it names the plan instead of a number, because on Super the sky genuinely does not run out and there is no honest denominator to print.

Opening a night

Tapping a tile slides in its own page, titled something like Gallery of Greatness > Art of Friday, July 17, 2026. It holds the sky itself, the shape's real name if you discovered it, the date, the night's quote, and two things you write yourself.

Hovering a star here still names the moment that lit it, however old the night is.

Naming your art

Every night gets a name field, discovered or not. An undiscovered shape has no name of its own, and a discovered one keeps its real name above whatever you decide to call it. Names run up to sixty characters and are checked the same way pet names are.

A note for future me

Underneath sits a private note. Nobody else ever sees it.

Both the name and the note save and then lock: once written, they read as a title and a paragraph, and a small pencil opens them again. Nothing is ever written only once.

Letting Yappie write the note

Let Yappie write it drafts the note for you. It lands in the same field, so you can edit it, add to it, or wipe it like anything you typed yourself.

One draft per night, ever. It is recorded on your account, so once it is spent the button is gone on every device you own. Yappie is not going to let you re-roll a memory until it sounds right.

It costs one AI call. On Lite and Super you also get one of these free each day even after the day's normal calls are gone, so a night is never held hostage by a quota. The AI companion explains the allowances.

Yappie only ever sees numbers and the stars you actually uncovered. It never sees your task names, and it never sees the part of the shape you did not find, so it cannot accidentally spoil a secret or repeat something private back to you.

Finding the Gallery

• Desktop: the Gallery button at the top of My sky.
• Mobile: the gallery glyph in the top bar of the Progress tab. Mobile always shows two tiles per row, so there is no per-row control there, and finding a night opens as a drawer.
