Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are essential for the site to function and to keep your account secure; others (which we don’t use) are for analytics or advertising. This policy covers cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) used on myyappie.app.
The cookies we use
We use only strictly-necessary cookies. Under EU and Dutch law, these do not require consent because the service cannot work without them.

Spam & abuse protection (reCAPTCHA)
To protect our forms (such as sign-up, contact, and appeals) from spam and automated abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA. To respect your privacy, reCAPTCHA is loaded only when you actually submit a protected form — not while you browse the rest of the site. When it runs, reCAPTCHA may set cookies and is provided by Google; its use is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Payments (Paddle)
When you make a purchase, checkout is handled by our Merchant of Record, Paddle. Paddle may set its own strictly-necessary cookies on its checkout to process your payment securely. See Paddle’s cookie policy.
Analytics & advertising
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we measure how the site is used, we rely on aggregate server logs and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that set no cookies and build no profile of you across sites or sessions. We will update this policy and add a consent banner before introducing any cookie that would require your consent.
Managing cookies
Because we only set strictly-necessary cookies, there is nothing to opt out of. You can still clear or block cookies through your browser settings, though blocking the essential cookies above may stop you from signing in or using parts of the app. Browser help pages: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.
Changes & contact
We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Questions?
